A reception is a different job to a wedding ceremony. The lights are lower, the music is louder and guests are already seated and watching. That makes the entry the single biggest moment of the evening — and the easiest one to under-plan. Below are eight reception entries we run across Bangalore, with the effects, timing and prices behind each. Full tiers are on our packages page.
1. Confetti on the drop
The simplest high-impact reception entry: the couple walks, the track builds, and a confetti burst hits the downbeat as they reach the stage. Our Premium Confetti Celebration starts at ₹7,999 for 10 shots — enough to cover the entry and one later moment.
2. Spark frame at the stage
Cold fire units either side of the couple as they turn to face the room. From ₹6,500 per setup with our Cold Fire Spark Effects. It is the shot most photographers will ask you for.
3. Cloud aisle to spark reveal
Dry ice fog for the walk from ₹10,000, then sparks at the arrival. Two separate beats, which gives your wedding film a build instead of one flat moment.
4. The cryo jet drop
- CO₂ jets fire white plumes straight up on the beat — from ₹9,999 per event
- Loud, fast and best suited to receptions and sangeets
- Pairs naturally with a DJ-led entry track
5. Petals for a slower walk
Not every reception wants high energy. A Royal Rose Petal Shower from ₹8,499 for 10 shots suits an unhurried walk, family-heavy guest lists and softer music.
6. Split entry with the couple's song
- Bride and groom enter from opposite sides and meet centre stage
- One effect per side, converging on the meeting point
- Needs a slightly longer track and a rehearsal walk — we run one before guests are seated
7. The cake-cut second peak
Hold shots back rather than spending everything at the door. A confetti or cryo burst at the cake cut gives the evening two peaks. If those shots are already in your package, this costs nothing extra.
8. The full reception sequence
Fog for the walk, sparks at the stage, confetti on the drop, cryo at the first dance. That is what our Royal (₹49,999) and Luxury (₹79,999) tiers cover, with custom quotes for larger stages. See effect-by-effect numbers on the pricing page.
Getting the timing right
Effects fail when they land a second late, not when the equipment is wrong. We align the cue with your DJ or anchor before guests are seated, agree a verbal or hand signal, and run the walk once so everyone knows the pace. Our crew operates the effect live rather than on a timer.
- Fix the entry track and the exact moment inside it
- Agree who calls the cue — DJ, anchor or planner
- Walk the aisle once at the intended pace
- Confirm stage marks so the couple stops in frame
- Brief your photographer on where the effect will happen
Venue planning
All effects are subject to venue approval and applicable event requirements, and placement depends on the venue and setup. We share the plan with your banquet team in advance — see the safety and venue rules guide for what they usually ask.

FAQs
What is the best entry effect for a wedding reception?+
For receptions, confetti and CO₂ cryo jets land hardest because they hit a music cue at high energy. Confetti starts at ₹7,999 for 10 shots and cryo jets at ₹9,999 per event. Cold fire sparks from ₹6,500 remain the most popular stage frame.
How long should a reception entry take?+
The walk itself is usually 20 to 40 seconds. We plan effects around that window so nothing overruns the music or leaves guests watching an empty aisle.
Can we have two effect moments at the reception?+
Yes, and we often recommend it — one at the entry and one later at the cake cut or first dance. If your shot count already covers both, splitting them costs nothing extra.
What does a full reception entry package cost?+
Packages start at ₹14,999 for Essential and run through ₹19,999 Celebration, ₹29,999 Signature, ₹49,999 Royal and ₹79,999 Luxury, with a custom tier for larger productions.
